Instructions on how to buy on BitMart
Step 2
First you’ll need to have some coin value in your BitMart account. If you’re new, start by tapping these icons on the right side of the screen.
If you already have coins in Bitmart, you can start trading them outright for $MIL.
Step 3
This will automatically take you to BitMart’s secure third party payment solutions.
In this example we recommend using MoonPay, but there are other partners if you tap the arrows on the sides of the screen.
Start by tapping the “Buy” button below.
Step 4
From here, you’ll want to buy Tether - USDT — which is a coin that converts cash into digital currency. Search for it in the list, and select it, then press “Next.”
You can also trade for MIL using other coins as currency, but USDT is a direct exchange for U.S. dollars.
Step 5
On the following screen, you’ll be asked to designate the amount of Tether - USDT you want to buy. The app automatically displays conversion in Euros, so you will want to switch it by tapping USDT in the upper right corner of the input field, or tap the menu icon above it to select the country conversion of your choosing.
Enter the amount you intend on buying and press “Continue.”
Step 6
Create a MoonPay Account
You will be directed through a process of creating a MoonPay account, which includes basic personal information like name, date of birth and nationality. You will also be asked a series of account questions and be asked to verify by scanning and uploading pictures for your proof of identity. This is all necessary information that makes your account and transaction safer and secure.
If you already have a MoonPay account, sign in.
Step 7
Once you complete the account creation process, you will be directed to “Make your payment.” Here you can use Apple Pay or “Add a payment method” using a traditional Credit or Debit card.
Step 8
After confirming payment, it may take several minutes (in some rare cases hours) for your bank of payment to approve the transaction. You will be directed to a status screen that will display the status of the transaction.
Once the transaction is processed BitMart will send your an SMS that you’ve successfully bought Tether - USDT.
Step 9
Return to Bitmart and click the “Trade” icon in the center of the main menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
This will take you to BTC/USDT (Bitcoin to USDT) trade screen.
Click BTC/USDT drop down to access all trades.
Step 10
Search for MIL by clicking the search icon in the upper right corner or navigate through the list.
Step 11
A “Limit Order” is a set order to buy MIL at a certain amount. For the fastest access to MIL switch “Limit Order” to “Market Order.”
Step 12
Enter the amount of USDT you would like to transfer into MIL. 100% will transfer all of the USDT you purchase into MIL coin.
When you’ve selected the amount your want to transfer, click “Buy.”
Step 13
Once the order is placed, the amount you’ve transferred in Tether - USDT will be converted to MIL coin.
Step 14
Now when you navigate to the “Assets” tab in the main menu bar, you can find your holdings of MIL and the current estimated (USD) value of it.
Now you own MIL coin!
